Shoplet.com Notebook and Elephant Poo Paper Review

Shoplet.com - Office Supplies from Staples to Printer Paper

I am a very organized person and always on the lookout for things to keep my office organized.

Shoplet.com helps me with this so much. They have a wonderful variety of office supplies  to help every aspect of your business or home office.

I recently received a few product from them and I have to say I liked them all. However they are just asking me to share my opinion of 3 of the items.

The first item I would like to tell you about is Roaring Spring Wirebound Notebook - 3 Subject.

I remember when I was in school and just had to have a 3 subject notebook. I loved it. I was able to seperate each section for a different subject. Well, I do the same thing in my home office. This particular notebook as 3 sections in it. One group of the pages is Blue, One group is Pink and the last group is Purple.

I use each section for a different part of my business. It really helps me keep things organized and easy to find. It also contains 120 sheets and is college ruled. The size of the pages measures 11 in x 9 inches in this paper notebook. It has perforated edge pages, durable vinyl cover, and  heavy duty back. Inside the front cover is also a 2 sided folder that is attached to it. In there I place notes etc that I don't want to misplace. I highly recommend this not only for your office but if your child is in school too.

The second item I reviewed was Roaring Spring Environotes Sugarcane Notebook.

I love this notebook because it is on the smaller side. I use this to keep notes and things in that I write down from emails I receive. It is just the perfect size. It has 80 sheets and is college ruled. The pages measure
9.5 in x 6 in. The really cool thing is that the paper is produced from sustainable sugarcane fiber. I think that is just awesome. The the flap attached to it states more about Sugarcane Paper.

Most importantly when you buy this notebook you are helping to save a tree!!
Sugarcane paper is made from a by-product of hte sugar-making process. "Bagasse", the waste fibers of hte sugarcane plant, are recovered and used to make this environmentally compliant paper. Producing sugarcane paper conserves over 60,000 acres of forestland every year. This is just incredible.

The last item I reviewed was Roaring Spring Elephant PooPoo Paper.

Roaring Spring Elephant PooPoo Paper
Yes you are reading that right PooPoo Paper. You are never gonna believe that these note pads are made out of elephant poo!!! First thing my kids said was "Oh Gross". I just had to laugh. When you think of it yes it does sound gross, but let me tell you that the paper is awesome. The very first sheet has a beautiful graphic on it and when you view the image above you will see it comes in different colors too.

We received it in this color:

You can tell by looking at each page that it is recycled as you can see all the fibers etc. Out of all the items I received to review I think this one is my favorite. First off because I think it is cool that it is made from elephant poo. I would have never thought such a thing, Second it is gorgeous paper. Most importantly it doesn't have an odor as you would propbably assume that it would. Last but not least it is saving a ton of trees. Let's face it elephants have to do their business on a daily basis so nothing is being hurt in this process.

They take a material in abundance, Elephant Poo, and make functional and completely useful paper products all the while sparing lots of trees in the process. You are probably asking why use elephant poo.

Well here you go:
Elephants eat lots of grass everyday and they poo almost as much. Since their digestive systems don't really break down the grass all that well, their poo has plenty of fiber. Seeing as though grass and fiber is the base material used in making pulp for paper, well, we figured elephant poo would be a great alternative fiber source for making their paper products.

They take the "oo" out of "poo!"

*Disclaimer - I received the item(s) mentioned above for review purposes. In no way did this alter my opinion of their products. All of my opinions are one hundred percent honest and true.*
