We love to be creative and try new products all of the time. I homeschool my kids and I am always looking for cool projects to do with them. Recently I was introduced to some wonderful Crayola products that are perfect for Back to School. These are some of the coolest products that we have seen and used. My kids were excited to jump right in and try them all out. I have to admit. I was too!!!
I will list all of the products below with a description, our review and pics too.
* Duel Sided Dry Erase Board Set *
This item comes with Dual-Sided Dry-Erase Board, 8 Washable Dry-Erase Bright Crayons, E-Z Erase Cloth, and Crayon Sharpener.
This is a wonderful product for our classroom. I can have the kids practice writing, math, etc on this board. The best part we can use it over and over again. It is also cool that you can write on both sides of the board. One side is white and the other side is black. It comes with a pack of crayons and the colors are very bright. They pop right off of the board and show very well on both sides. It is also very easy to clean. You just use the black E-Z Erase Cloth that comes with it to erase everything that you have written or drawn on the board. Don't worry either, if your crayons get dull. The package has a built in sharpener so you can sharpen them right up.
* Crayola Wild Sticky Notes *
I am constantly writing notes for myself and on my kids homework, worksheets, etc. This sticky notes are perfect for all of my notes and making sure they stay attached to my kids worksheets. They also have cool designs that are perfect for kids. It comes with a Wild Notes Pen and when you write on the pads with the pen it comes up in all different colors. Very Cool that it has wild, changing colors on every page.
* Crayola Wild Notes 1 Subject Notebook *
I gave this item to my son. I have them do a drawing journal each year. I give them an assignment of what I would like them to draw or journal about. The first one I let him use his imagination and do anything he would like to try out the new notebook. This one is very cool too. It comes with a Wild Notes Pen, so that when he writes on the pages it shows in wild, changing colors on every page. He thought it was the coolest thing ever.
Here is what he came up with for his first entry.
* Crayola Wild Notes Index Cards *
I gave this item to my oldest daughter to use as her drawing journal. I allowed her to do her own first entry also, so she could try it out. These are index cards that are attached with a ring binder like a book. You can easily tear them out too if you would like. It also comes with a Wild Notes Pen and when she writes on the pages it shows in different colors. She loved it and got excited when she saw all of the colors. Definately a big hit!!
* Crayola Bright Fabric Markers *
I have to say I had never seen a product like this before and either had my children. They allow you to draw on fabric. It is also very easy to use. I allowed them to write their names on their backpacks to try them out. We will be using them during the holidays to make shirts etc too. You just choose a cotton or polyester blend fabric. Then place a piece of paper under the fabric. Then draw on the fabric and when you are done remove the piece of paper. There are 2 ways to set it. You can either use an iron or your dryer. It has all of the directions on the back of the package. These were a huge hit with my kids. They come in 8 bright colors.
* Crayola Window Mega Markers *
This is a set of 4 markers that are in School Colors. It includes the colors white, blue, black and orange. These are great because it allows you to draw on windows and it easily wipes clean. I have let me kids doodle on the windows with them. They couldn't believe it when I said they could actually write on the windows and not get in trouble..LOL We will be putting them to good use for the holidays decorating our windows.
Here is an example of using them on a window.
* Crayola Crystal Effects Window Markers *
I think these were the coolest out of them all for my kids. At first they were like big deal just markers. I then explained that they could draw on the windows. They got excited but when they started to draw they couldn't really see the colors. They tried to tell me they were not working..LOL
The funny thing is you have to give it time or you can help it along. You can fan it with your hand or piece of paper or touch the spot in the corner with your finger to speed it along. The drawing you did with the marker all of a sudden will crystalize. It is the coolest thing ever and my kids couldn't believe it. Once they saw it they began drawing more and more to see the magic happen. We are going to use these during the holidays to draw snowflakes on our windows. We live in Florida so we don't get to experience real snow so why not make our own!!
Here is an example on our windows.
We have enjoyed all of the products and highly suggest you check them all out too. Your kids will love them!
