W is for Wapiti makes learning Letters FUN with this Songbook { Review }

One thing I really enjoy is introducing my kids to all kinds of books. Each of my children love to sit and read or look at books. They have been this way ever since they were under the age of 1. I always feel that books should be a very important part of a child's life. I homeschool them and in our classroom I have a big bookshelf that is considered our library. It is full of all different kinds of books. I am like a little kid when I come across a new book. First off to share it with my kids and then to add it to our library.

We were asked to review a book called " W is for Wapiti! An Alphabet Songbook "

First off, this is a storybook that comes with a music CD. Music is another thing that I feel is very important to introduce to your children too. Each Friday we have music day. I introduce them to new songs, instruments etc. I feel it is very important to teach them these things as well as to get them up and dancing. At first my son is a little shy but it gets him to open right up. My girls are all about rhythm and get the hips a shaken as soon has they hear a beat.

I first introduced them to the book by reading it to them. It is beautifully illustrated on each and every page. Each page represents a letter of the alphabet with a cute little saying and pics to go with it. My kids loved the entire book as did I. Great for reading time and reinforcing letters and letter sounds too.
Here are a couple examples of the pages:

As you can see from the pictures above, that the graphics are super cute and perfect for kids. I have enjoyed sharing it with my children and have to say it is one of my favorites.

It also comes with a Music CD that was a huge hit too with my little ones.

There is a pocket on the inside back cover of the book that you can place the CD to store it.

Here is some more information about this wonderful set.

Delightful words and music in 'W is for Wapiti!'
