Dance and Groove to The Harmonica Pocket { Review }

I absolutely love music and so do all 3 of my children. Especially my girls. They love to get up and start dancing as soon as they hear a beat. I homeschool my children and every Friday is our music day. I introduce them to new music and instruments. We have had a blast this first 2 months of the school year listening to a bunch of new music from differnt artists.

We were introduced to a band called The Harmonica Pocket and the CD was called Apple Apple.

Songs about the birds, trees and diapers, delivered with smart music and jaunty lyrics.

Songs include:
* I'm Gonna Count
* Diaperman
* Monkey Love
* Apple Apple
* Afraid of Heights
* Little Little Baby
* Turkey in the Straw
* Waiting Always Takes a Long Time
* Happy Mother's Day
* Bare Feet
* Reflections
* Dream a Dream
* Supermoon
* Apple Eyes

My kids absolutely loved it and got up and started dancing right away. They have listened to it several times and my oldest daughter now sings along with a few of the songs. It is a great CD to help with counting skills and letter sounds too. It has been a huge hit in our classroom. It has some very catchy tunes that I find myself singing along to also. Guess your never to old to get in the mix when it comes to music. Made me feel like a kid again.

Here is some info about this CD:
The Harmonica Pocket, a solar-powered Puget Sound based band, just released thei third family music CD on August 14th. The 14 songs on Apple Apple reflect the band's deep connections to the natural world as well as the humor and wonder of childhood. This truly green recording was produced off the grid at The Harmonica Pocket's solar-powered studios on an island in Puget Sound.

Best of all you just might be able to see them live at a show near you. Check their calendar for locations and dates of their upcoming shows.
