Hours of Fun with the Step2 Create and Play Kitchen and Pink Little Helper's Wagon {Review}

The summer is over and fall is upon us. Before you know it Santa will be coming down the chimney's. I am sure your kids have begun to mention things they would like on their Christmas lists this year. We start early making our list in our home. We kind of have to as are kids birthdays are Nov 22nd, Jan 5th and Jan 6th. We get hit with all 3 birthdays and Christmas almost at once. I start my Christmas shopping in August or September each here to get a jump on things.

This year my girls had asked for a Kitchen Playset. Much to their surprise they didn't have to wait until Santa arrived for this one. We receive a Create and Play Kitchen and a Little Helper's Wagon in Pink. You can probably just imagine the excitemnt on my girls faces wen they seen these 2 boxes arrive on our doorstep. The boxes were as big as them and they started begging to open them. I allow them to help with each review and this is a big one. We have to open each box and lay out all of the pieces and then go step-by-step with the instructions to put them together. They love to help in the process and get so excited when we complete each one.

I have to honestly say these 2 items have been a huge hit in our family. We decided to put them out on our patio where the kids tend to play a good majorit of their time. My kids are ages 8, 6 and 21 months old and they all enjoy playing with each item. My son who is 8 is a bit big but kneels down to play with the kitchen with the girls.

I will give you some general info about each product and then you can view are video for more info.

With this Create & Play Kitchen from Step2, your little chef can pretend to use common kitchen appliances. The set includes a refrigerator, an electronic stovetop, a microwave and a coffee machine. Your youngster can feed the pet in its hideaway under the stove, learn to recycle and how write a to-do list on the refrigerator.

I showed the item above in the Pink Version. We were suppose to receive this version but received the Neutral Colored One. In all of our pics and videos you will see the one we received but we wanted to make sure you knew about the pink version too. It will likely be something your little princess will want to add to her Christmas List this year. The one we received is wonderful too and perfect for either a boy or a girl.

It is just the perfect size and super easy to put together. It took us about 15 minutes to put it together. That is allowing them to help with each step as much as possible. After we got it together I then began to put all of the stickers on it. This is what really helps to bring the entire kitchen to life. My kids couldn't wait to get it finished so they could start playing with it.

The door to the refrigerator has a pretend ice maker on it and opens to show 2 shelves on the inside to place items. The oven door also opens to allow them to place things inside there as well. There are 2 little yellow bins that can be placed on the shelves. They are for Recycling and the Veggies. I love the concept that it teaches kids how to recycle. This is a huge plus to us as we recycle in our home. It then has a little sink with a faucet and 2 knobs for the water. Next to the sink is a stove with burners. Some are just stickers and one actually allows you to place a pan and pot on it and it lights up and does 2 different sounds. One sounds like water boiling and the other sounds like a sizzling sound. My kids think that is awesome!!

It also comes with a pretend coffee pot and lots of accessories too.

It has a picture frame that is attached that you can place your very own photo in. My kids really liked that and that on the front of  the fridge you can write on there too. There is a white rectangle that allows you to write. I suggest using a wipe off marker. This way you can wipe it off and draw or write something else in the space. My kids absolutely love this item!!

The next item is the Little Helper's Wagon in Pink. This is the perfect size for my 21 month old daughter. We began by taking everything out of the box and putting it all together. Of course, I allowed them to help with this one too. We got this one put together faster as there were not as many pieces. My baby girl couldn't wait to use it right away. She ran to get her baby dolls and shoved as many as she could into the wagon and away she went. She loves it and is constantly using it to take her babies for walks. I love that it is made of a heavy, thick plastic which will ensure it to stand up to just about anything she can put it through. They also make this wagon in a neutral color too so the boys can have their very own too!!

We are very pleased with both items that we know they will be a big hit will all the kids this year too. We own several Step2 products and are very pleased with each one we have. The quality of each item is top notch. We have a playhouse that my son has had for about 8 years and it still is in great condition to this day. I always know I can trust Step2 when purchasing their items. If you should ever have a concern about a product you can contact them directly too. They are always more than happy to help you with any concern or question you may have.
