Creative Snowman Light Bulb Product from BIC { Review and Giveaway}

Every year around the holidays, I make it a point to sit down and do art projects with my kids. Now, let me say I do art projects with them all year but these have a special holiday theme. One of my favorites is to make a personalized ornament with them. Sometimes we do one as a group or individual ones.

This year we had the pleasure of doing a group one. We got to work with BIC on this one to create a snowman light bulb ornament. Now, your probably thinking how in the world am I gonna make a snowman out of a light bulb. Very Easy!!

You just turn the light bulb upside down. We were sent a big box of permanent markers from BIC to use. I have never seen so many colors of permanent markers in my life and my kids made the same comment. They also supplied us with a lght bulb and different colored felt. I let my older 2 children help with this project.

We decided to give our snowman a scarf, mittens and a hat. I let each of my kids pic out felt they would like to use for each. We then applied it with glitter glue in which was supplied to us as well. My kids had a blast helping with this project. After we got that all done I had them pic out colors for his mouth, eyes, nose, arms and buttons. I then drew them all on with the colored permanent markers they choose.

After we got it all done I cut a piece of felt and glued it to the top of the snowman. This way when it is completely dry we can hang it on our Christmas Tree.

I have to say it is as cute as can be and my kids just love it. It was such a creative and easy project to do with my kids. My mind is just rolling with ideas that I can use the permanent markers with. I see alot of art projects coming our way for 2013.
